Course content:
The programme is designed for students with little or no previous knowledge of Russian. The course aims at development of productive language skills of writing and speaking in Russian and comprehension of spoken and written Russian at A1/A2 level of competence in Russian as a foreign language (TORFL).

Teaching Methods: The course consists of a series of face-to-face lectures supplemented by more interactive moments in which the active participation of students is required. Slides and audiovisual inputs are used.
Learning Objectives: a) - know the history of the Russian language; know the morpho-syntactic, intonational and pragmatic structure of Russian at the A1/A2 level. b) - analyze lexemes and be able to point out word formation processes; understand and produce short texts of at least 15 sentences; functionally translate short and simple texts from and into Russian. c) - Autonomy to analyze short texts, recognizing the morpho-syntactic, intonational and pragmatic structures of Russian at A1/A2 level. d) - vocabulary enrichment and ability to speak actively according to A1/A2 level Russian standards around topics. e) - ability to learn and generalize through communicative and translative-functional approaches.
Expected Learning Outcomes and Assessment Methods: Colloquio orale / Oral exam, Stesura di tesina facoltativa / Optional essay (written production)
